Royal Gorge Bridge

Pretty easy cache and dash!

After explaining what Geo-caching was to the owners, they allowed us to hide Royal Gorge Cache on their Property. Unscrew the cache and leave the rest attached please. This is a log only so BYOP! We camped near this cache during our very first experience rafting down Echo Canyon and had a great time.

I noted the previous logs with DNF and since we are staying in the park I decided to look for the cache, and if necessary replace the it. Unfortunately I didn't find any appropriate hiding location associated with the current coordinates. Since the current CO is not active, I think the cache should be archived.

Searched for awhile, found fresh cuts on the pine tree. One of the photo hints suggested it was attached to a branch. I'm certain this one is going to need mx.

Spent a couple minutes looking. Checked everyway I could think to hide a micro with this type of terrain/elements. Nothing. People working in the yard next door but they didn't ask us what we were doing or offer any hints. Either they don't know or didn't care. Wonder who checks on this one.....

every thing is on the ground, looks like the branch it was on has been chopped, hopefully it’ll stay in the little cubby behind the tree.
