Does anyone like a chance to howl at the moon.
This cache can only be found at night. The above coordinates are for the trail head parking area of the pulpit rock park area. You will need to start your search from that parking area. The first two points are visible from the main trail. All of the reflectors are oarnge so ignore any others. You my need to get real close to each reflector to see the next one. A really good flashlight is suggested and prepair for lots of yucca.

I had an excellent time with this cache! Two visits, cause I tried on a beautiful day with my "fairest- telling" device... but I didn't do the right stuff to make that work. With a good light this night I walked & worked and made it successfully to the end.

Once; as a very newbie cacher, I came to a hide that gives as many people fits as those who manage to succeed/ stumble upon the hide. The previous person who logged a find on that one philosophized : "Only a real geocacher is going to find this." I think it was years and multiple visits before I finally got that little monkey off my back BigSmile (don't ya hate being one of those phony, wanna-be-geocachers !!?????? )

WELL ! Only a Real Night Cacher is gonna find this.

It took me ages to find the trail and it was quite some distance from the posted co-ordinates that I first found a marker. Once onto the trail I did OK, although near the end I seemed to lose it for a while. It came as a little bit of a surprise when finally I reached GZ, but it was unmistakeable when I did. I didn't see the sign warning about rattlesnakes away from the main paths before I started the cache ! Dropped off a TB that I brought across from Scotland.

Found this one about a year and an half ago, but am just logging it now (June 2019). Can't believe I forgot about this one! Giving it a favorite point because night caches are the best!

Met up with THeSKuLL to grab this one. He did most of the work, I was along for the smiley. Easy find. Another great night cache.

Wow! Just over a year since the last time this was found.
I started this a while back and only got a few in before I had to turn back. I was in slides (sandals) and was just waiting for my boys to hang out at the trampoline joint down the road. This time I joined up with KJKlock and was able to finish with better shoes on and a much better flashlight.

The only good thing about a 4:50pm sunset is that it makes for early Night Caching.

I've been wanting to do this cache for a long time, but somehow never got around to it. Move away from an area and suddenly your vision sharpens and you know what you want to focus on. I've got a list off caches and when I come to town it's only those I do. This was one of those. Like RPieperco said, we started but couldn't finish the last time we were here. He did some leg work to be sure we could finish this time. Thankfully, it wasn't too cold for a night hike. We quickly made our way to the last found marker and began searching for another to see where we were going. Once we picked up the trail it went fairly smoothly. Glad to make this one a smiley now. A wonderful last night on this trip. Sl, thanks!

Thanks for the really fun night cache! CrumbCrunchers and I started this one earlier this year and made it through a couple markers but lost the trail. On the way back to the car we managed to get a glimpse of the one we missed but ran out of time to complete it that night.

Fastforward a few weeks and I managed to pick up the trail during the daytime while going after a few other caches in the area and exploring the trails. That only accomplished a few more but left us with some hope to finish it someday.

Tonight we made plans to meet up just after sunset and give this another go. We headed to where I had last spotted one and quickly spotted the next stage. A bit of navigating and we were back on the trail. A couple along the way left us guessing but we just pressed on finding the markers well lit. Finally we spotted the two markers together and knew our journey had completed. We bushwhacked over to the final and found the cache! Woo hoo!

Signed and stamped the log at long last! Replaced everything as found. This is a great cache and will have lots of fond memories attached to it! Thanks so much for all the hard work that obviously went into creating this one! Well done! A favorite for all the fun!

The moon is often visible during the day, isn't it? I made this cache far more challenging by seeking it out during the day. Over the past year or so, I've slowly found my way from marker to marker. I recently hit a dead end and got stuck and a friend gave me the final coords. As I compared distance from where the cache is to the last marker I found, I was pleased at how close I had gotten. Curiosity is going to bug me enough to find the last few markers though. I picked up the TBs since they've been in there a while. Thanks for hiding this fantastic cache!

This cache has been on my to do list for far too long. I saw that the night would be relatively warm an have an almost full moon so it was the perfect time to go for it. I thought I was stuck at one point but thanks to a fairly powerful flashlight I finally spotted the next reflector. The trip out got interesting. I followed a trail that I thought would get me in the right direction but when it kept turning I went cross country. It was a little more of a bushwhack than I wanted to do at night but it was my own fault. I swapped TBs. TFTC
