It celebrates the contribution that fathers and father figures make for their children's lives. Its origins may lie in a memorial service held for a large group of men, many of them fathers, who were killed in a mining accident in Monogah, West Virginia in 1907.

Out and about this beautiful morning before the skies once again open up and pour rain and hail. Excellent hide. Really, really good. LOL After removing the log and signing it, I had to hunt again on where to place it back.

Thanks for hiding the cache and bringing me out on this beautiful day. You've found several of mine and I'm glad to be able to find one of yours now. This one deserves a favorite point.

Greetings from Kitchener, Ontario Canada! I stopped by to log your cache today along with northernpenguin on our visit to Colorado this week. I was last here in 2012, and I really enjoyed exploring the area more fully this time around. We made a spectacular hike with friends up to Butler Gulch and did some walking around downtown Denver, as well as some exploring around our hotel in Centennial. All the caches we found were in excellent shape and fun to find - thank you for adding to our traveling adventures.

This was a nice quick find before dinner :)

Hello from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada! I'm in Denver for some training with my wife, Kayakate. During our free time we wandered about for some local geocaches.

Kayakate spotted this one right away, then we wandered up the street for some ButterBurgers! The cache is in good condition.

My GPSr coordinates haven’t been very good lately. But for this cache they were right on! I was glad for that since this cache was very well camouflaged. Thank you for placing this well hidden cache for me to search for!
