“Muggle Lake”....where?
“Muggle Lake”

In 1906, when it was originally built, the grey house at the end of this dead end road used to overlook a lovely lake. To see the location of this lost lake, look to your north and imagine a sparkling mountain lake in the valley below instead of muggles and homes on wheels. This lake was known for having lots of ducks! (What may remain of the lake is near the Other Side Restaurant and on the property of Spruce Lake RV park...and still very popular with the ducks!)


The original portion of the grey house (referred to in archived records as the "Culver Cabin") was built by Charles Oliver Culver of Fort Collins, CO (originally from Ohio) in 1906. Mr. Culver was on the board of directors of the Fort Collins National Bank. His wife was Mary Jane.



Once you have reached the coordinates for this cache, take 12 paces south (uphill) to find the canister. Please be sure to let us know where you are from! Enjoy!

We are in the area with a group of friends from all over the country. We live in our RV and are NOT muggles, well at least I am not. My snuggle muggle is just be helper. We lived in CA for most of our lives and are now exploring the western states. There is so much to see. We are spending the month of August in Colorado visiting many different places. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache. It sure smells good.
