Great area to visit, about .50 from Meadow Muffins. I was just out exploring and said this spot needs a cache
I made this a multi so the same route is used.

Make sure to read up on Meadow Muffins and Hilltop at Eagles lookout (Goat camp creek) for other helpful details. Hike South of MM, following the stream bed, for the easiest route.

The first leg is hidden next to a fallen tree in an interesting rock on the North side of the trail. I tell you this being I could not get my GPS to calm down (other readings welcome).

have fun on this 2 leg multi. Expect the usual JJASKS 2000' vertical, intense hike!

New ammo can placed 12/13/14 - it is about 8 feet North of the tree on the West slope where the original cache was - still a very NICE spot indeed.

We found stage 1 last month but ran out of time that day before we could look for the final. Today we were hiking along Stanley Canyon Trail and detoured north to look for this cache and a puzzle cache that we solved several years ago. We found the same container as the last finder; we didn’t see an ammo can in the area. We signed the log and replaced the container as found. The view of Pikes Peak to the west were stunning. Thanks for bringing us up here.

found the first stage, which is in decent shape except the strip is now in two pieces... so a puzzle cache! lol alas, my phone died enroute to the final, so I'll need to visit another time.

We picked up stage #1 back in October. Today I finally made the hike to the final from the schubarth trail. Never found the ammo. Just the tin mountain bear signed. Tftc!

Found with Java Chip. We had to dig a little but found the original cache which was last signed by Adrenalin Junkie on 1/16/2012. Nice views... worth the effort! TFTC!

Found stage one today with Berry16, Werefish, and a good-natured coworker. Our hike already turned out much longer than anticipated, so we'll save the second stage of this for another day!

Great hike today with my dog Allie. Found the first stage no problem but thanks for the hint in the description. Great location and views at stage 2 but didn't find another cache. But thanks for bringing me to the spot.
