Located at the beautiful Arvada (Blunn) Reservoir, this geocache is located along the paved upper sidewalk that goes around the reservoir. Enjoy the views of mountains, the water, and downtown Denver in the distance to the east. Along the way, you may also see some wildlife, Elk, Deer, Rabbits, Eagles, Cormorants, Geese, Ducks, and Ospreys. As with any outdoor adventure in Colorado, be aware of your surroundings and watch out for snakes.
You can access this cache by going down the concrete path until it ends and you are on the duel and gravel trail.
Enjoy nature as you walk to where the cache is. You will need to go off the trail to access this cache. Use caution if there has been recent rain in the area as the dirt trail becomes a muddy trail.
The cache is near a No Treaspassing area by a water retaining pond. You do not need to go past the no trespassing signage..
The cache is a nano magnetic that does not require you to leave the trail.
Note: You will need to enter Arvada Blunn Reservoir to access this cache, open 7am to 7pm daily.
You will drive down to the lower ranger station and advise the rangers you are only walking.
