FLAG DAY

The flag of the United States of America, often referred to as the American flag or the U.S. flag, is the national flag of the United States. It consists of thirteen equal horizontal stripes of red (top and bottom) alternating with white, with a blue rectangle in the canton (referred to specifically as the "union") bearing fifty small, white, five-pointed stars arranged in nine offset horizontal rows, where rows of six stars (top and bottom) alternate with rows of five stars. The 50 stars on the flag represent the 50 states of the United States of America, and the 13 stripes represent the thirteen British colonies that declared independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain, and became the first states in the U.S. Nicknames for the flag include the Stars and Stripes, Old Glory, and the Star-Spangled Banner.

 

The cache is not located at the posted coordinates.  Find the locations of the included photos in the gallery to solve the coordinates for the final cache.  Photos were taken near Horsetooth Road area, South of Swallow Road, North of Harmony Road, and all are West of Lemay Avenue.

C= Number of Military Seals in the rock wall next to the flagpoles.

D= Find the Three Digit number on the tower in this picture.  Add all digits together to get one number.  Take this new single digit number and multiply by two.

E= Find the four digit number on the building (3?50). 

Use the second digit for E.

This is a great puzzle cache that I enjoyed--fine locations to cipher out and visit and a good final location that reinforces the overall American flag theme. I had it solved yesterday but was unable to get to the final until this morning. Thanks for it, Jeremiah the bullfrog! It is receiving a Favorite point.

FTF] @0600 . Out early this morning for my cache run. I looked at this one yesterday when it published and realized I am definitely spending too much time in Ft. Collins because I knew where everything was from the photos. So that made it easier( or easier than chasing clocks and transformers). Thanks for the fun puzzle, tribute to our flag and the bonus TB, it’s almost as nice as [Lil Ruby. Dipping my coins.
