Small rubbermaid box overlooking Coal Canyon.
We went out today to see how far out we could go in the Wild Horse Study Area and boy could we go far. We found an old trail that was still open to all forms of travel including vehicles. ( I wouldn't take a full size truck) and the end of the road had yet another amazing view. Plan on bringing a sandwich though, as it took us three hours to get out there.(and maybe gas it was almost 60 miles round trip).

Have been to this area several times but didn't think about a cache, I thought had to get to it from the bottom. But went to check on some tanks and horses today and decided to get this one. Sl, tnln. last time log was signed was 09, cache is in good shape. Not many get up this way. tftc

Yep we totally came at this the wrong direction. We started at 27 1/4 Rd and there is no way you can get the last 2 miles. We only realized that you had to start out at Cameo to get to this one through the wild horse park. ha ha. We'll start at Cameo next time!
