We placed this geocache to mark the location of our Scout Troop 285 Summer Camp 2009 location. Cross the creek and slightly up the hill.
The container is an ammo box with orange "GEOCACHE" written on the top. This is a beautiful campsite with a creek.

Long gone. There are no bushes around anymore and lots of muggle activity.

We were staying in the area last summer, (this did not get logged), but the kids took a hike looking for camping spots and found this on their way, didn't have anything to trade. Nice area for a scout troop to camp.

I eyed the snowy log bridges crossing the creek and decided to take my chances on the ice. Luckily, the stream was narrow and the water shallow and I made it across with only a little water on my boots and I made the grab. TFTC!

There was a family camping here today. I skirted around so as to avoid them. I don't know if they were aware of my presence. I found the cache at 9:48 am and it was 73 degrees there at the time.

We camped very near by about 489 feet. We waited until Sunday morning for most of the near by campers to leave. This was a very cool spot. Thank for sharing with us. TFTC!
