Scenic view

The lastest submission in my tribute series, dedicated to Cache Owners that I absolutely adore, and actively seek out their hides.  This one is dedicated to Greasepot, who is a local legend in these parts, and has over 53,000 finds and owns over 500 hides.  I think we have found more of her cache's than any other CO, and the kids were lucky enough to bump into her in the woods last summer with Shorty.  Follow the signs to the Columbine Archery Range and park there, the trail goes around the closed road gate, and is a nice meandering walk to GZ.  The distance to the cache is about a mile, although you should keep going up to Cajrrman's Trail Mix cache up above!  This is a wonderful spot to sit and take in the views, listen to the wind, and discover a cache!  Happy Hunting and BYOP!

Went for a drive to the west and south of the Denver metro area on a sunny and warm early summer day - this was the twelfth of thirteen geocaches that I found along the way. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

We grabbed this on one the way back out of the trail. Great overlook! We had a friend join us while we took in the view. Pics are not spoilers.
Sunday and we decided to head up to the mountains. That can be a risky proposition because the trails are so busy. But everything turned out find. Ran into cajrrman during our travels. Small world. After caching outside of Sedalia we went north and cached around Evergreen/Conifer before heading west and getting one last cache. Beautiful day!
Thanks for the cache!

I saw that these thee new caches out here were still not found after being out there for a week so on the spur of the moment, LoneQuilter and I headed out. We made the find here sometime after noon. We also shot some video for another episode of Caching with CAJrrman!

We spotted LostInDenver some time later on the way back to the car.

Thanks for the new caches in the splendid and less traveled area.

This was my favorite one of the great views and nice hide.

Three FTFs in one day for us!

I took the geocoin.
