This is one of the parks in the area that is not used very much, but is a nice place to take a break or bring the kids.

The park was most recently constructed in 1985. It has had a number of renovations since then and has good quality Playground Equipment. It is within the Emerson Park Neighborhood Historical district. Emerson School to the north was built in 1903

The park was formally the play area associated with the school.

Parking is along the street to the east or in the neighborhood to the north.

Oops, went to Whitman park first and turned on GPSr and it said 0.5 miles. Then we went to Emerson park and found it. Nice hide. Signed log as CNG. TFTC

FTF!!. One of the quickest finds all time for me.. no kidding: from the time i crossed the curb from where i parked my pickup it took me 30 seconds to find. actual time looking was 10 seconds and second place i looked. took a little time to dislodge to put in my hand.. now if i could be this lucky on slade's two by the mall!! so i knocked out 3 slade's this morning... T4TC, TNLN, SL.
