Headed West today, taking a route that only a geocacher would understand. I stopped here to take a break from the driving - and of course to find this cache. I thought that this would be a quiet spot, but I actually had to wait for two muggles to pass. Dumped some water out of the baggie and signed the damp log that was in the container. Thanks for the fun!

Interesting: Usually the baggie goes inside the cache container. But it was an easy find and it gave me a new plant for my PLANTS CHALLENGE bookmark list (yucca); nice job and TFTC!

Found cache. Took a sick day from work to come geocache eastern Colorado - been a while since have been to this part of the state. Surprised to see more snow in Kansas than this part of Colorado, but not complaining. Anyway, make it to location and made the quick enough find. Container was cracked, so placed inside a baggy that I just happened to have in order to help protect from elements. Cache in good enough shape. TN/LN/SL.

Thanks, Awfulshot! This one is still in good shape after all these years. I took a trip to South Texas last week, and I drove by here after spending the night in Amarillo. The time change coming this way gave me an extra four hours to geocache on my way home to Arvada. I love geocaching on the plains, and there are still plenty out here to find. I found a few caches near Lamar, and the others were south of Limon. It was fortunate that the weather was good for this time of year. I hope to be back soon for more.
