This cache is in a mid-sized como'd ammo box, and is only a few hundred feet from where you'll probably wind up parking. It is along the edge of Daniel's Park, and will require sure footing while searching for it. I wanted to place the cache in an area with terrain that would offer a little bit of adventure, but wasn't that far away. The area also will help discourage muggle cache attacks (I doubt they'll travel far enough to find it). The cache isn't hard to find, and there are only a couple of semi-hard sections getting there. Just please respect the area by being careful with your footing, and don't forget to enjoy the view while you are there (it's great for sunsets!) You might even see the buffalo herd if it's near the road.

Area definitely closed off now.
Ranger on patrol so couldn’t hop the fence and try for it anyway. Too bad because it seems like a great area.

They have the trail blocked at the parking lot right above so now longer hike but still a great cache. TFTC

Thanks for the fun cache! Came up this way after work to meet up with CrumbCrunchers for a short walk around the nearby trail loop and to grab a couple specific caches. We then came over this way to grab a few more. As others have mentioned it seems they are blocking off access. But today nobody was obeying! There were tons of people playing down on the rocks and bluffs. We just walked past them and nabbed the cache. Much tougher getting back up the hill!!! Thanks for the fun cache and great location! All is well here!

Found this but strongly recommend you move it. New fences have been added at the top by the shelter to deter people from climbing on the rocks.

To the cache owner, you may need to retrieve this cache before it is no longer accessible. There are now wood fences up all around that part of the park restricting access to the area of the cache. No "do not cross" signs up yet, but wouldn't be surprised if there are soon, and don't know how accessible it will be from other parts of the park. Sorry, forgot to snap a pic of the new fencing.
