Greetings from Oklahoma. This is our last full day of caching before heading home. We have been on a month long caching trip to different parts of Colorado. Had been a great month of caching and the trees have been outstanding! Never could GPS to zero so had to do some looking. Nice hide. Only one TB in cache and took to move along. Thanks for placing!

I enjoyed the hike to this one. The lid was loose so some water had gotten inside, but the log was OK. Thanks for keeping this oldie going, Shadeau.

Went for a morning walk and found this one. I took the hard route for sure. Turn left after crossing the bridge, not right. Very cool find. Dropped off some trackables.

Out for a break from working at USASA National with Scoobert had to wade thru waist deep snow for about 50' dug down and had to break the ammo can loose. Thanks to Inga for the great hint.Been here for 8 years now in the winter and have looked for this one more than once over the years with no luck and seen that it was found a few weeks back in the snow so thought I hd a good chance of finding it , it was harder to find than I thought as there was only a slight indent in the snow.

They, whoever they may be, say that the third time is a charm. Well, for me that held true today. After two past years of looking for this cache in the winter and not finding it, I attempted it one last time. Thanks to Team Dennis and Inga's picture I was able to find GZ. My GPSr had me at 30 feet off to right there when I finally found the cache. Now digging in the 3 feet of snow that was over the cache was another problem. This year I brought a gallon jug that I cut out the bottom to use as a scoop. What a time saver!! I excavated a large enough hole to sort of step into with my snow shoes and located the cache after 10 minutes of digging. I signed the log and filled in some snow on top of the cache to make it a bit more hidden. If you are around Copper Mtn. now and want to look for this cache it will be a snap since it will be the only open pit mine in the area. I will post a couple of pictures when I can get them off my camera. I'm giving a FAV to this cache since it eluded me for so long and I always enjoyed the hunt in years past. The views on the cross country trails are just fantastic and most of the time you will not see anyone here. TFTC
