Continuing the Patriots Dynasty series, slightly out of order.  Many will disagree, but this had to be the greatest SuperBowl ever played.

The Patriots came out very flat and this game looked like it was going to be a blowout and the official end of the Patriots dynasty.  Bill Belichik is the master of the half-time adjustments so when Tom Brady and crew came out of the tunnel at NRG Stadium in Houston down 21-3 there was still significant hope in Patriot Nation.  However, when Atlanta came out in their second possession of the second half and marched 85 yards in 8 plays hope was waning.

But little did we know then, the score 28-3 (with just over 23 minutes of game time remaining) would come to be a source of pride for Patriot fans across the nation!  The Patriots, led by Tom Brady on offense and Donte Hightower on defense dominated the rest of the game.  The defense stepped up with some extremely important stops, and one very well timed forced fumble.  While, the offense moved the ball at will scoring on their next 4 possessions (which included one of the greatest catches in NFL...let alone SuperBowl...history and two 2-point conversions) to tie the game at 28-28 with 2 min remaining.

The first overtime in SuperBowl history commenced with the Patriots wining the coin toss and electing to receive the kick off.  The feeling of inevitiblity was in the air and sure enough, 8-plays and 4 minutes later, James WHITE ran into the end zone to complete the greatest comeback in Super Bowl History!!

838th cache found. Out with FarmCat95 and we stumbled on this COs cache. What is it with our area rep approving such a blatantly biased cacher's ramble about some team in tghe New England Area. As with his previous cache I was considering to mark it a DNF, but the I realized a needed a 5 for the alphanumeric cache. Oh the decision was agonizing over it. I grabbed a Snapple Peach flavored ice tea to mull it over even more when FarmCat95 told me to just grow up and sign the log because we still had other caches on the list. I know the CO must have felt the disturbance in the force and had a smirk. I can just picture it. Anyway thanks for the 5! Go Niners!

{FTF} wahoo! An FTF on a mystery puzzle! Couldn’t sleep early this morning so I happened to check my email. A new cache! And I need a daily! So I looked it over. No find? Ok, it’s early, maybe I have a chance. Worked through the puzzle quickly (I’m personally a Chiefs fan but so happy it read anything sports right now). And thought I stood a chance. Arrived at Gz with about a dozen other cars! Quickly realized they were there for drop off (at 6am!). Had a chance to search but couldn’t find anything at the obvious spot. Took a minute, searched again. No luck. Then a car pulls in next to me - here we go! Oh, it’s the CO! Tells me a funny story about a comedy of errors and wild efficiencies. After I reported where I searched, he hands me the cache. Accidentally hitting publish and the reviewer’s attentiveness beat him to the punch! It was nice to meet the CO and chat with him a bit. I appreciate active owners. Hooray football and hooray FTF!
