We planned a trip up to do these yesterday when the forecast was for cooler tempertures. On the way up we ran into dark cloud that started raining hard. Pulled over under a tree in Nunn and watched it come down. We got hailed on. We went back home because the weather looked the it was going to do this all day long.

We came up today it's a lot nice but a lot hotter. We had a good time. Some of us more than the other. I really thought i would be hauled out on a gurney. Thanks for placing this cool Star for us to find all the pieces. Only got half the star down but theres always tomorrow or shall we say in the Fall.

My son and I were heading down to DIA to pick up the rest of the family as they were returning from a school trip to Greece. Since we had the day to get to the airport we decided to take on the Colorado Star caches. We found the first half of the star before we had to head on down the road. We saw several pronghorn antelope as we made our finds. Tftc.

Headed out this morning with the intention of getting the rest of star we haven't gotten but realized a whole section is gone and it was way too hot for the geo dog so only grabbed a few and then headed back south. It looked very different out here than what I remember when we got the others and was in the awd not the 4wd so parked a little ways in and hiked for fear of starting a fire in the grass. Moved the car and left the windows down with the geodog inside to so the 600 feet to this one.
