The Southern border of Kneebone Park is bounded by The South Boulder Canyon Irrigation Ditch. This ditch originates from South Boulder Creek just South of the Boulder Denver Turnpike (36). Proceeds past a number of caches including GC2CWBA Mondo's Amacano, GC7VYBE Ditch Driver, and GC7DBYF SlothHanger.  It crosses Arapahoe just West of N. 107th (Highway 287) and is near GC1K5HG Searching for LL1321.  The pillars at this Geocache were part of The Gateway to Boulder County and the main road to Boulder before the Boulder Denver Turnpike (Highway 36) and I-25 were constructed.  At this point it feeds Erie Lake which is part of Erie's water supply. The wood pile at this location are the remnants of an old Cottonwood that at one time supported a tree house that was the pride an joy of some of the local kids, now grown up and or moved away. Hopefully it will provide some more entertainment for kids of all ages as it decomposes.

Saw this one come out this morning and we knew we were going to be in the area to grab 2 other caches. Not needing another FTF we called FLM to see if he was going to go after it before we made our way to that area. He said no it was too cold, windy and muddy, so we hoped that someone else would get there before us, but that didn't happen even 4 hours after it posted. Oh well, by the time we got there the sun was coming out, it was warming up and the trail was wet but not muddy. Enjoyed the short walk to GZ, TNLN, TFTC.
