First cache for Ra Jadero Canyon
I placed this cashe during a field day for Map/compass class for wildland firefighters. Use caution in the area. Rattle snakes have been spotted in the area. If looking for the cache during hunting season be sure to make noise and wear clothing to make yourself stand out. The views from this vista are grand.

There is a bonus. A Benchmark is nearby for those that look for them.

I suggest parking above and walking. It is possible to drive in with 4x4. I'd rather if people walk and enjoy the area. Lets try and keep the traffic down so the area won't be damaged.

Decided to take an afternoon drive to this part of the valley. Parked below due to some snow, hiked up. Found but container in brittle condition and bag tore apart at touch. Not surprised sitting for 2 years since last find. Needs some help and no supplies with us. TFTC

Came up to the cabin for a few days and brought my dual sport motorbike with me this time. Love the area and a great way to explore it to ride and take pictures. Geo-cacheing has become and infection in my life too so with a few more new ones in the area I had to get them. This one has been on the list for sometime but being able to do it has been limited. Today was my day and my sole purpose was to get this cache. What a great place and great views. TFTC SL

Went out on Thanksgiving morning to find this one. Took my wife and daughters for the climb. Very nice place for a cache. Off the beaten path! Took 2 firefighter stickers, left candle and pencil sharpener. Signed log with a frozen pen. Snowed the night after we found it so we did it just in time. TFTC
