This is a Fire themed cache paying respect to where my "Huggle" works: Franktown Fire Protection District in which this cache is located.

Along a newer trail that connects the Cherry Creek Trail just south of Bayou Gulch Rd. under Parker Rd. to the Bayou Gulch Regional Park & loop trail. For the closest public parking go to one of the parking lots for the regional park on Fox Sparrow Rd. on the north side of Bayou Gulch Rd. Since I have a trailer I park at the dog park trailer parking on the right side of Fox Sparrow. From there it is 1 1/2 miles by trail, crossing Bayou Gulch Rd. at the trail crossing lights. to the cache.

If you ride a bike be aware this section of trail is deep sand and may be difficult to maneuver.

Do not park on Bayou Gulch Rd. nor is permission given to park at the church or the Colorado Horse Park.

The day I originally hid this cache (November 1, 2014) we were riding in the park. My husband was on his mule who he had been having problems with. Sure enough about an hour after we hid the cache that mule bucked him off and he severly broke his left upper arm. Guess who came to the rescue-his own department, of course. They were great. They drove the ambulance right into the park and got him loaded. While the paramedics took him to the hospital the firefighters helped me walk my horse & mule across the road (it was pretty much dark by then) and all the way up to the trailer where they helped me untack & get them loaded so I could take them home and then head to the hospital. They were still at the emergency room when I got there and filled me in on what was happening. Even some of the volunteers and off duty guys had come in to offer help. He had plenty of visitors the 4 days he was in the hospital. And yes, the theme of this cache was already set up! What is in that cache now is what was in it the day I hid it (except the travel bug). I finally got back by myself on my horse to check to make sure it was still there over 1 1/2 years later & dropped the bug.

This was a great geocaching day! While @WindAtMyBack was working in Parker, I decided to hit the trails looking for special caches... difficult, Earthcaches, Virtuals, highly favorited, and ones placed by my friends. The day ended with a mail call to pick up my new pathtags.
I snuck over to the GZ, being careful of snakes. I didn't find any alive, butbi did find the skeletons of 3 near the cache. Excellent hide! Tftc!

Out by myself on this nice day to drop an appropriate TB in this cache. I've been meaning to do this for a while, and finally got around to it. Nice walk to the cache. If I took this walk through the sand every day for a couple of weeks, I'd either be lame or fit. The cache is well hidden and in great shape, as are the log and contents. I dropped the Fire station's missing truck TB, took nothing and signed log. Thanks BCH for placing this cache so that we can play!
