On the way to "The Edge near Devils Head"



While hiking to a cache from 2001, I placed this cache in some rocks!


My Oregon didn't seem to get good coordinates, so there are alternative coords in the cache listing. The main coords were averaged and the other two were taken less than 6 feet from the cache.

Follow the directions in the cache listing for "The Edge". (Click on Related Web Page for "The Edge" page.) The parking coordinates are the ones I used. You will be across the street from the starting point.

Fun grab today. Was in the area camping with my scouts and was here early to secure a campsite so I found some caches, and did a few hikes.

Didn't have reception (access to Edge cache) so I just beelined to the cache, and coords put me right on it.

After hiking up the Devils Head trail to attempt those 5 caches (only found 2;-( I had plenty of time to hike out to these two caches. The hike was pretty easy, but finding this one was a challenge. I didn't realize that saving caches to my phone app didn't include the spoiler pics & I could have really used them. I finally did find the cache & my phone read just 3' using the actual coordinates. I rescued the TB that had been there for over a year.

Last time I was back up this way and on this trail was on 10/10/10.
