Lalang, Master D! and I made a stop here while visiting from Minneapolis and after spending 5 days at Keystone skiing. We're back in Denver for a day or so. Starting to head home now, but not before stopping for this one. After a bit of intel, we returned to make the find. TFTC

Rejiggered the numbers and returned to find the cache with ease.

Awesome, thank you for the very fun multi cache. I really enjoyed the process of coming up with the cords. I am not exactly certain where I messed up, but appreciate the gentle push to get back to sign the log. TFTC

Lalang, Master D!, I are visiting from Minneapolis. We picked up my buddy HeinieHunter for an afternoon of caching. We felt pretty comfortable about our math, but could not come up with the final. TFTC

well shoot! I feel we did everything right, except find the cache. I don't know if the hints confused our search from the solid calculations, or what. We tried, spent a good amount of time, double checking, and looking. I do like this type of multi, so I really wanted it. We come back into town on Friday, so maybe look one more time, before heading home to Minnesota.

Got this one with the help of ShortCircuit77, who helped me narrow down my search area after I first got a general idea of where the cache was. I was at elevation 1661 m when I signed the log book. This has been a very rewarding find. TFTC!

Finally found this one with a hint from a previous finder. I had looked for this one a few times now. SL. Thanks for the fun cache!

After an unsuccessful morning working on puzzles (we were 0 for 5) nerak2001, lasouthpaw, and I decided to attempt this multi. Not exactly sure where we went wrong but while I was searching elsewhere, la made the find. TFTC!

Out caching today with peace love pi and nerak2001. We headed over this way to find a lonely cache, I was super excited this one was on the list because I'd like to find more multis. We gathered the necessary information and plugged things into the formulas. We couldn't decide on one of the numbers so I plugged 2 options into my phone. One seemed unlikely so we concentrated on the other one. I zeroed out in an unlikely spot, but it was close to some possibilities so we started looking. Relocated a couple times and looked again. Finally, I was like to heck with it and expanded the search radius. I say this a lot - in caching sometimes it's better to be lucky than skilled. Although I'm tempted to start saying stubborn instead of lucky! Wound up finding this a good distance from the coordinates we calculated, LOL field puzzles are not my strength. Thanks for the multi and everything is in good shape at the cache. Smiley #2750.

This was really fun to do with peace love pi and lasouthpaw. Lasouthpaw spotted it a bit off from our calculations. The container is in good shape. Thanks for the hide!

Finally, finally, finally. Came years ago and got numbers. It was during the work week and too many cars and people to make a serious search. Put it in my "solved folder" and forgot about it. Going through that file last night, thought we'd give it another try seeing it would be a non-work day with less traffic. Pulled into the RTD parking lot on the west side of 36. There is major construction going on and south lot entrance will be closed from April 10 to Sept. Walked over 36. I had figured out the numbers and did a plot on website maps. Used that to search. Nothing. By chance went back to WP1 and did a compass plot. We had been off by 60 degrees. Armed with this, we renewed our search in that area. Success!!!!! Very challenging, we enjoyed. Lone Wolf 77 and Short Circuit 77 finding 22 of 22. A little precaching brunch and then to the hunt. Beautiful day to be outside. Lots of good fun. Thank you for placing this cache so we could enjoy the game. sl

I couldn't make a positive ID on what the name should have been for #3 so I guessed & it must have been wrong because my projection was about 100' off but I muscled my way around and finally spotted what I was looking for.

Last cache of the day with BroncoCole. His kiddos were troopers today but they were spent. BroncoCo and I had to use our brains more than we were initially hoping for in this one. After looking in three wrong places, BroncoCole had the right angle and was able to see the container. Hooray!
Found Spammer's Altitude Means a "Lot" on February 19, 2017 using Cachly for iOS.
Thank you, Spammer for placing a fun cache for all of us to enjoy. I look forward to finding more of your caches.

Fun multi with PayMeCache. Kids enjoyed sticking the final over and over. I found this at 1:55 PM. Thank you, Spammer, for placing the cache. Cheers!

A 12 year old multi? Of course I had to look for it. I dragged heh324 with me to look for this one. It took some effort and process of elimination, but we finally found it. Thanksgiving was a perfect day to look for this one. Thanks for the fun multi.

Out for some Thanksgiving finds with fearthefish. We struggled some with this one (better eye sight on my part probably would have been helpful). Anyway ftf was determined which brought us to our ultimate success!! TFTC

Our thanks to Spammer for a quick reply on our cry for help. He was getting on a plane to leave town when called early a.m. with enough detail to make the find. Knowing what exatly to look for spotted it from the cache mobile but did so only after going back to GZ stage 1 with our top of the line GPS and rerunning all the data and working it out from there from scratch just to double check and document. Will get the info to the CO but installed the GPS data into some high end mapping software and either we came up with the wrong puzzle data, the puzzle data given is extremely "Loose" OR someone has move the cache from same structure on one side to other side. (North/South) As for elevation, we came up with following data. Elevation at GZ = 5505' At 2nd stage lower level vertical GZ= 5493, similar to log of 8-28-09, and our carpenters eye told us it was 12' vertical. The actually elevation (accuracy) should be accurate to < 7.5' (gps calibrate rather than baro pressure) and the differential of 12' should be <18" (precision) Based on our mapping software the distance (calculated from puzzle) was within 10' (from either location on either side of building- 4%, not bad) but the heading (true) was near dead on to one location but off by 30 degrees (True - even worse if Magnetic) to the other location (where we actually found the cache) I use a GPS extensively in my work for mapping, survey and underground locates and am positive of our figures, our headings will not be off by more than 1.5 degrees - this was what threw us off, while we did look at this side of the structure, it was only half hearted and we spent the bulk of our time on the wrong side. Am positive that looked at "this" location on the other side but with all the up/down obviously missed this level when we went back to this side and started looking at these "alternative" locations. BUT anyway you look at it, we had FUN and give this cache a FAV point for all the exercise and brain work we had to put into it!

On a multi week 3000 mile cross country trip in RV caching almost every day but without internet most of the time and even without good cell service much of the time (one wk totally without) as mostly in rural areas visiting friends & family so are way behind in our logs what with 2 major breakdowns siting in parking lots waiting for parts, 4 tires destroyed, etc. Even though late, logging a bit here and there to keep TB status up to date.
Currently sitting in a parking lot having tranny worked on under warranty (this was a long planned event, not an emergency stop) and managed to snag a friends Jeep over the weekend. Have a lot of caches from the trip but no multis for months. We like Multis and have been eyeballing this one as we drove back and forth from RV to friends house. Stopped on spur of the moment now that had wheels but had to walk pedestrian bridge across hwy to GZ, leaving my good GPS (garmin eTrex Vista HCx with baro altimeter precise to <18" and accurate to <10' - have compared to aircraft altimeter several times)
Arrived GZ and spent 5 minutes looking for 1st stage cache before finally paging down and reading the WHOLE description! WOW, big mistake we had made to that point! Quickly solved puzzle and via triangulation determined approximate 2nd stage, looked to be opposite stair well, but managed to easily "Gauge" our range more precisely while going over there. still following the hint, turned off GPS and put on our "Fire Safety" inspectors hat and began the search. I am an engineer/Commercial General Contractor by trade and am extremely familiar with fire safety protocols so began by checking all bolts, valves and related equipment for torque, closed, inspection certifications and dates, tags and labels - including on all related equipment and structure within 30'. NADA. Old logs show variation in vertical elevation from 8' to 30'+ but made the trec to other elevations at 12',24', 40' and still nothing,. Just to be sure went to other side of structure where similar equipment exists and still nada, all levels.
Just when I was ready to give up would notice something on one level which would trigger a thought so would repeat inspection of all levels (and sides) - this happened multiple times. Spent 1:15 before giving up. Our two top all time FAVs are both multis and both have navigation/orienteering involved and just could not give up on this. Have 2 days left in town and hope to return with better GPS and some help from CO. Thanks for the hunt, visited bugs.

Something possessed us to stop at this one on our way to this afternoon's event. Ground Zero was essentially empty which helped. We made a couple of assumptions and proceeded to find the final. Thanks for the fun.
