What a day! After work I headed north for the NoCo event. It doesn't start until 6:30, so I have time to grab a few caches first, right? Maybe not. Turns out these events traditionally start early. My arrival 15 minutes early was actually a little late. But I digress.
I started with a puzzle cache. Then to a few traditionals, letterboxes, and then the event. The event was a blast - I even won an ammo can in the drawing! A few quick whereigo's and traditionals afterward and it was time to head south. Wish I could have stayed longer. Ended the night with 22 finds. YA-TAH!
Favorite of the day! I heard about this one, but didn't realize I was here until it was too late. Ya got me. Tftc!

Our second find of nine today on our last day out West before flying back home to North Carolina. This is a really great cache! I saw the truck with the license plate DRK MLK and I wanted to get a photo for my dad, who's a dairy farmer back in New York state. But while we were getting the cache, it drove away! Sorry to have missed you. Great hide, though. We really enjoyed it. Thanks for the cache! BigSmile

Out caching with FeartheFish which means me driving his butt around all over the place. Roadtrip to Cheyenne for the webcam plus west of Greely for some letterboxes and picked up other caches along the way. Really neat cache although it was also REALLY hot inside. Give it a fav! TFTC!

Apparently I am no longer able to find a cache without being accompanied by the lovable and always cheerful herndonrd. Today was no exception, as I was out and about caching with herndonrd simply because I make him look good. Usually, he finds the caches while I look in all the wrong places. We were on a special mission today that included finding as many of the local drive-up letterboxes as possible. When I noticed the number of favorite points on this one, I made sure that we pulled over to look for this one. It was so worth it. I love the cache guardian here and I am truly glad that we made the stop. Plus, I can never resist finding an ammo can, especially if I am carrying travel bugs. There was plenty of room for the three I had with me and there was one in the cache for me to grab.

Hooray!

After we did the whole sign and replace thing here we celebrated our victory by hopping back into the car and driving off to another letterbox. Thanks for the fun hide and for getting me outside on such a beautiful day. Favorite point added for the really fun hide.

P. S. No animals (humans or otherwise) were harmed in the writing of this log.

Easy find. Good for elementary age kids. Younger kids might find location a bit creepy.
