Before I head west, I want to find a few more geocaches here around Rifle. I particularly enjoyed my outing to Rifle Falls yesterday, so decided to work a little farther up the valley and find this particular geocache.

The Girl and I left not too early from Rifle and the ride out to the trailhead was very nice. Traffic was not too bad, although I had a pusher or two roll up on me. Why be in such a hurry? Life is too short to get so wrapped up in things.

We really enjoyed the hike out from the trailhead. After making the find, we hiked another mile or so up the valley, enjoying the sound of the outdoors and the solitude. The Girl had a blast sniffing out the locals. We only saw one other pair of hikers (their dogs were not very well behaved, unlike the Girl, who's nearly perfect). :)

I looked through the goodies, but elected to just dip my trackables and move on. TNLNSL TFTC!
