This Green was named after John W. Barnes. I've done some research to find out who John was but so far I've come up empty. If any cachers out there can shed some light on who John W. Barnes is/was, please share it in your log entry and I'll add it.

Out on a grand caching adventure with my great buddy, #1 Beefers. Beautiful weather for caching. Used a previous cacher's advice of going 25 ft east. Thanks for the placement, Vin Fiz!

The coordinates are off by about 25 feet. I went east of where coordinates indicated (the middle of the street), and after a couple of passes around I was able to come up with the cache. This isn't my favorite place to search, right next to a busy street, but I pulled through for the smiley. Everything is in good shape here, log was nice and dry to sign.
