This location is not too far off a relatively easy to travel dirt forest road. It was hidden as a family fun adventure so it can be found the same way!

I have been geocaching in this area for several years but this time had my grandson and wife join in the fun. The name for this geocache came from the fact there are a number of "aspen" trees in the area and since we have a "Hideout" camper we stay in. My grandson chose this location feeling it would be relatively easy for a family with kids to find even if they were just out for the day exploring rather than camping in the area.

You can get to this location from one of two roads. The closer road means you get to hike down a short hill. The further road is a longer walk but less of an incline.

We used a plastic ammo container and placed the log book and some trinkets inside. Enjoy your time in our National Forests!

Out for a motorbike ride and just happened to see this sort of new cache. Really enjoy this area and even more when there is a cache or two to grab. TFTC SL

TFTC After spending the winter in San Antonio near some grandkids, it is good to get back to Woodland Park for the summer near our first granddaughter.

I saw this pop up on my notifications this morning and it was only 6 miles away. After I got in the geomobile, the GPS showed a half hour arrival time. I had forgotten how the mountain roads twisted and turned. Well it was a great sunny morning for a ride in the woods. Locating the cache was quick with the great coordinates provided. Happy to give this a Favorite point for the {*FTF*} at 8:37 AM and a good job in your first hide.
