Mad the quick little jog up to grab this guy. Glad I took my time and did not take a direct rout. The cache is in great shape. Thanks for the hide!

Feels pretty good being finder #9 in the almost 10 years that this cache has been in place. Visiting family and I asked our outdoors type but not a geocacher host which he would rather do: shorter but a hike up, or longer but more flat. He picked the hike up, and boy this one fits that bill. Just a dusting of snow so that wasn't an issue. 20 degrees but warm clothes and strenuous uphill make that not a problem. After zig-zagging around to the top, we zeroed in on GZ and found the ammo can pretty quick. We then hiked up to the top and took in the view. Great times and a favorite for sure. Thanks for maintaining this one!

Whew, I sure made that harder than it needed to be! It only took about 45 mins to climb up there, but then the fun and games began. At first I was in the wrong spot, looking in as many crevices as I could reach in the howling wind, thinking, "Oh dear, it's been muggled again." Then I moved over to a new area and searched that for what seemed like a long time before finally finding it in plain sight. Felt like an idiot! :)

Approaching from the NE is definitely easier. I went up the east slope, but came down farther north, following my geodog, Suzy. Her route back to the car was definitely easier. She's good at that. I don't recommend doing this one in the summer after the cheatgrass has turned; the whole side of the mountain is covered in it.

The cache is in good shape. The pen had given up the ghost, so I replaced it. Also left one of my new extags of Suzy. Thanks for the hike!

Nice hike: no trail to speak of, but lots of wild raspberries along the way and great views from the top. Very satisfying to get there, and the cache is right where it should be, in great shape. Thanks for making me get out of my Jeep, pull up my socks, and take a little uphill jaunt! This was a great way to cap off a good month!

Was driven off the mountain by a hail storm. This is no four as far as terrain.

Hiked in late in the evening. I have been spending too much time on the couch these days and the hike up was a good realization that I need to be in the woods more. Half way up the gps started to act weird, and soon realized I was on low batteries. Got within 130 feet of cache. Hiked out after sunset, and made it to the car when completely dark..

I got home and found a bug on my chest that turned out to be a tick, which was the first one I have ever seen in Colorado.

Thanks for getting me out n the woods.
