I'm sure you've seen these electric boxes everywhere around town. But what do they actually do? These electric "power boxes" or transformers are cabinets for electrical equipment, mounted in the street and controlling the electrical supply to a number of houses in a neighborhood. These boxes are only in areas with underground power lines, and are often painted olive green to help blend in with the environment. Please do not attempt to open or otherwise fiddle with the box itself, the cache is not inside the box. Please be respectful of the neighbors. Parking is available right next to the cache.
