A cache near Babi Yar Bridge. Take some time to explore this area.

This bridge in Babi Yar Park crosses a small ravine, reminiscent of where victims of the Holocaust were buried. The bridge is black with tall sides, replicating the cattle cars in which the victims were transported to the camps. It evokes the feeling of claustrophobia people must have felt being taken away from their homes and lives. There are two small slots on each side to allow one to replicate the view the victims had while being transported to the camps. There are large stones at each entrance to the bridge. The inscription on the western stone reads:

"Freedom or Power - The Eternal Struggle Bridges or Cattle Cars - Choose! Me...But You To - The Eternal Dilemma Before and After All - The Rock

Very sobering memorial. I can’t believe the growing number of the younger generation that are denying the holocaust. Like the saying says those who do not learn (or eve deny) from history are doomed to repeat it. I feel bad for my son and especially granddaughter, knowing the potential bad outcomes she may face.

Cool area. We think the cache has been muggled...but we aren't sure if it was the cache. There really should be a good hint so everybody doesn't stomp on all the plants. They are being destroyed. Will need a hint to make the find....ir maybe CO can check it out. Thanks
