TFTC & FTF with SeekDaCache who was at GZ when I got there and was pondering the first part of the puzzle. Gets a favorite point from me for originality, puzzle and container construction. That being said though I have to admit that it's been so long since I've done a Rubic's cube that I got frustrated with that part of the puzzle and resorted to the technique that worked on the first part. (Meaning that I picked the locks.) Now I will have to revisit Rubic's cube, thanks for that. Keep up the good work.

CO-FTF @ 10:40 with Alpenist When Mrs SDC phone went off this morning alerting us of a new cache just a few miles North of us, I slipped on my shoes and headed out the door in an attempt to get our monthly FTF. I made the short hike to GZ and began working on it. I had figured out the first part after having one of those Homer Simpson moments DOH! and entered the 3 correct numbers, but didn't get it to open. I guess I might have not had the tumblers aligned correctly. Just then I heard a voice ask me if I had solved it. It was Alpenist just up the hill, making his way down. After I had told him what combos I had tried, I stepped to the side and let him try his hand at solving the first part. He then entered the same numbers I had previously entered and the lock magically opened, OMG! We then started working on the second part of the puzzle and after a few minutes he handed the puzzle over to me to try and finish solving it. I continued working on it as he was entering combo numbers. I finally started making some head-way on solving the puzzle piece getting some of the answers to reveal themselves, when I heard him say "got it". We had spent about 40 minutes there. Very nicely crafted cache container. SL,TFTC, TNLN ApproveApproveApproveApprove
