We thought this park is so cool it deserved a second geocache. You know you're getting close when you see the flamingos!

No need to ford the stream as this cache is accessed by a little-used walking trail on the south side of the creek. Look carefully in the obvious spot...the container for this one is large but well camouflaged!

The Fez Bandits searched valiantly for this one at an elevation of 5,424 feet above sea level on a partly cloudy, 95°F afternoon, but could not locate it. The coordinates seemed to lead us to a giant cottonwood, and it even had a nice hollow space at the base for a cache, but alas, there was nothing in there. We took a stroll by the lake and let our daughter play at the playground for a while before the search. It's a really nice spot!
