This is one of the new experimental Augmented Reality geocaches. However this is much more difficult than the others you may have experienced. We recommend that this one not be your first. The puzzles inside this experience and reaching the final geocache are intentionally difficult. Do not attempt this geocache if it is beyond your skill level. The rating on this cache is correct and not inflated.

Augmented Reality
This cache is part of an experiment that allows the use of Augmented Reality (AR) apps to find the cache. At the end of this experiment, Geocaching HQ will decide if this cache will be grandfathered or archived. Geocaching HQ reserves the right to archive this cache at any time if conditions change. If you have found this cache and would like to give feedback on your experience, please fill out this survey.

To get started you will need to download the Metaverse app on your smart phone. Link app on iOS and Android. Once you have downloaded the app, travel to the posted coordinates and stand in the center of the structure. Open the app and search for the "AR_Summer of CITO" experience. At GZ you will be greeted by the experience with instructions on how to get the final coords. Good Luck.

If you already have the Metaverse app you can scan this code to go directly to the experience.

Finally took the time to grab this with MM. Got the TOTT and went after it.

Enjoyed the puzzles and have been meaning to try for the cache for a while. Sadly I didn't manage to get it. It was bitterly cold and my tool wasn't big enough!

Thanks CEGT for this Cache. We always appreciate Cache owners for their contribution to the game. This is find 6969 for us.

It was really nice out today and I have been waiting to go to the final for this one knowing which tool was necessary. Today I decide to bring along the little one to see how she fared. She didn’t. So it was still up to me. I can say that I was able to retrieve the cache without the required TOTT however that could have also gone very wrong. Haha you always need a little danger in Caching.

We will add more details as we go and most likely talk about our experiences on our weekly podcast

After nerak2001 made an attempt to retrieve the cache without success, she used her PAF, estrek for a TOTT and she was kind enough to come to our rescue. After a short accent we were able to put ink to the log. I don't have to many 5/5s, so glad I could get this one. TFTH SL

Had a great time caching with Roc Buff, and jasperdakota, and Sqweeter today! We targeted wherigos, puzzles, a virtual, and large containers. We had enough cachers with us so no container would go un-found...that is until we looked for this one. Thanks to patient Estrek for bringing the much needed TOTT and to Sqweeter for his ascent to the cache! Congrats to jasperdakota for hitting a milestone with this one!

Inspired by a message related to this cache, I got started on it and certainly faced some challenges with the logic part of it. A pot of coffee later, I had everything solved, and the cords checked. Nice! I've talked about this cache type many times, but this is the first time I believe I successfully completed one. I really enjoy the mind / physical combo that this one presents. After solving it, I decided that I couldn't just sit around with a 5/5 waiting for me out there... I had not heard the details on this one, so I figured the final wasn't too far away to see what I was up against.

I think the attributes gave me a good idea of what I may be doing, however, so I was optimistic! Upon getting to ground zero, my suspicions were confirmed. Nice. I love this type of hide! Not 100% straightforward, but I personally didn't find any TOTT's necessary. Then again, I tend to throw caution to the wind with these. I was looking to make this one even more difficult when I got an eye on the cache. Actually was a nice seat location to sign, snap a picture or two, and be on my way safely.

I had zero issues with the play through bit of this one and thought it was very whereigo like. I hope to see more of these, as I think they have a LOT of potentials. Everything with the physical cache and log are in perfect shape. More people should get out and give this one a go!

Thanks for a new experience, combined with a highly enjoyable final! It was a pleasure to sign this one.

Final cords in hand, just have to make it to GZ and find out what I'm up against. Note to anyone who got an email / message recently from Memfis for a hint on this one - it has a typo, so as it stands shouldn't be considered a hint too much. Heh. ;) Hope to post a found log soon!

FTF!

I was able to work ( struggle ) through the puzzle part and had time to give the final a go.

Having done a few of these helps some, but this one was the toughest to date.

Don't want to put much out there, so not to take the fun out of this one.

Thanks for a fun one!
