If not for the hint I would have given up on this cache. Coords are in the middle of the road. I searched and had no luck. But it has been found recently, so I continued. There are a few parties going on nearby, but their view is blocked by foliage. With persistence on this 1/1 cache, I finally made the find here: N39° 35.545' W105° 03.235', 23 feet away from the given coords. The loose attachment devices made it difficult to re-attach the container. So I looked underneath and saw that one of the devices was still on the host. I put it back inside the container and that helped.
Today after work I headed west to find a variety of caches in Denver, Lakewood, and Littleton. I started by visiting my mom and step father's grave in Fort Logan and grabbing the new CSQ cache. Next I headed to the Columbine Memorial virtual and ran into an out of state cacher - sparkyfry. I saw several hummingbirds, a few hawks, ravens, and caught my first snake of the year, and visited Mile High, er Invesco Field, for the new Adventure Lab. All the ingredients of a great caching day.

Found it after going where the gps put it and that’s a bad idea
