The FrontRange Moving Target is a unique cache that was started in 2002 and can be moved each time it is found. It's been moved many times. I found it at this particular location and thought the site was so spectacular that it deserved a permanent cache.

This cache is super easy! Just go where I'm pointing.

You can see the route up to the cache location in the photo. You're looking at the North Noddlehead from the northwest and that is the easiest way to get to the cache. The seam that ends at the notch visible where I'm pointing is at least 20 feet wide and not a difficult or dangerous climb, but evaluate your own ability before attempting this cache.

For ATV's, you can park at the Noddle trailhead (see waypoints). If you're on foot or using a bicycle, you're better off using a different trail that has much less elevation gain and doesn't allow motor vehicles. It is easy 2-track most of the way, with intermediate singletrack for the last mile or so.

I left my huggle with the horses at the south Noddle & hiked on down the ridge. We could have ridden but this was faster. After finding the cache on solid ground I walked the rest of the way to the north Noddle and determined it too was far too dangerous and above my ability. Perhaps someone who is planning a hike here would be kind enough to invite me along.

Out hiking with Rob14erGuy and SnailMan1 this morning.

Great views from up here and very fun time getting to GZ.

Thanks for another fun hide to hunt down!

Snailman1 always seems to find the best route! I'm glad I didn't go up where I originally was thinking!
Hartsdale and I followed him and we enjoyed the spectacular view from up there.
Thanks for the great hide!

Rob14erGuy, Hartsdale and I came up here specifically to see if this cache might still be here after it not having been found for over 4 years. When we arrived here all we saw at first was several impossible routes. We eventually found a path that looked promising since it was taking us higher. I eventually went down a crevasse only to come back out thinking that was not the correct way. I was looking for another possible route and the next thing I knew Rob14erGuy was on top of the rocks. How did he manage that? It looked like my 1st thought was correct I just didn't see the path up and over. We had great views from this high vantage point. I certainly would not have wanted to attempt this one by myself. TFTC.

I hadn't been back to this area since finding the FRMT here, so it was nice to return and find your "replacement" and the South Noddle Head cache. This time I came in the easy way - last time I had quite a bit of elevation change since I came in (on foot) via the ATV trail. Great area and views - I enjoyed it just as much this time! TFTC!
