We looked for a pile of rocks. Didn't find any. Then we found the cache. Nice find.

TFTC! took awhile to find.. we were concentrating on the rocks and about to give up when Scorpion spotted it. Left it where we found it. Fun area to explore.

7-18-15 A bit behind on logging, especially DNFs and Maintenance type logs but only 5 more to go to be totally current AND have our 1000th find logged! After the recent event in the area on 7-5 we made a run for the caches - all that we could get in the few hrs of daylight remaining. Got 11 of the total in the area and had to leave 3 behind for a later date. This was one of two DNFs, both of which are actually getting a maintenance log due to the string of DNFs over long period of time. We have found ALL but 2 of Samstersad's caches (1 is a recent hide - will get it and Glade Park someday) and still remember most of them with pleasure, especially White Missile, Lone Juniper (that one got a FAV and is one of the few "tree hides" that I actually enjoyed!) and ESPECIALLY - ta da . . . . "The BIG Gray" which also got a FAV from us. We STILL talk about that one, in fact, it came up in conversation during the event. People had heard about it but no one at the event had found it, so all were curious. We filled them in BIG TIME!

After grabbing Fruita Dam #3 we came up to this one not having read the logs - figured it for a relatively easy one as (being for the desert of AZ) "Rock piles" are my specialty (tree hides are for the Ms. - I hate them - Lone Juniper being the Lone exception) We spent a good 10 minutes scouring the area before I finally went back and read the logs and realized we were likely looking for a rock shadow rather than pile. BUT that means we put some SERIOUS EFFORT into making the find initially. Needs to be replaced or archived.
