Well I went up there with the hopes of finding this cache... Looked up down and all around but it wasn’t there. It may have been muggled since the water level was down and it’s moat has dried up. I don’t believe I’ve ever given a favorite for a did not find however thank you for bringing me up here it is absolutely beautiful and my dogs enjoyed a good swim. I hope that you are able to replace this cache

So we noticed this cache somewhat near to the RV park where we are staying. Decided to take a drive up the road, in between the rainy spells, and see if we could find this cache. We noticed that it hadn't been found in a while and we weren't sure if it's because it's so far out of town or because it's on an island. We loved the area and didn't mind the hike to grab a cache, even though we got eaten up by the mosquitoes, but we were very disappointed to get within 124 ft. and find out that the 'may require wading' attribute was waaaaay under rated. Because of the water level of the lake it would require much more than wading through the disgusting water. No way we were equipped to do that or would even consider it because the water to the island looked pretty gross for swimming. We hope that the cache is in good condition. Even though this is a DNF we thank you for bringing us up to this beautiful location!!

Okay, so I had to look up Star Wars to understand some of it but this cache has the most well thought out themed swag I have seen yet. Spoiler alert, I took a picture for the Geocachers without boats or ability to swim a mountain lake & who are not as lucky as I was, water level was very low and I walked the the whole way with barely a wet hiking shoe.Smile Don't worry, all characters and their parts got put back in the bags & re-stashed. CoolCool that you guys have formed this caching clique & I see jake92 on your membership roll, he's a very good hider. So thanks to you all for the great cache. SL, Took a cool little pocket watch and left Area 51 pin, perfect for the seclusion of this site. Also a Marine Corps Bulldog magnet for toughness & a Pennsylvania state magnet because we are...Orange Jeep of Pa. BigSmile

Out camping for the 4th and had to grab the cache. Loved it! It was my husbands favorite cache so far. I took the Polished Oregon Beach agate and he took a toy. I am not sure who it was though. We left 2 watches, 2 pins, a golf ball, and a toy compass.

What a great cache! Didn't have an X-Wing or a boat so I swam for it. My Suunto Core altimeter put me at approximately 9,800 feet and the air temperature was about 52 degrees Fahrenheit. I really enjoyed the scenic views. The water actually felt warmer than the air temperature. Took: Darth Maul figurine, Left: Colorado magnet. Thanks! LawDogFam10-

[My wife, Nancy, and our dog, Cassie found it at 1:30pm on a hot day although much cooler at that altitude. The Star War action figures were fun to find but were much newer than the ones my 4-year-old son and I played with after the original movie came out in the Summer of 1978. It was our FCF in four other attempts near our home in Montrose.] We came by 2-person kayak with Cassie on the bow. Easy way to get to the Waypoint.

Nice cache. We were out checking out Storm King. On the way back down I checked to see where some close by caches might be. My friends son was pretty stoked to see all the figures in the box. A future cacher I would say. There were people in a boat fishing nearby, so we had to be sneaky. Good fun with a bit of risk.

Took nothing, just signed the log.

Thanks

Well, a boat would be nice or you must wade through knee deep water or walk a 40 foot log over chest deep water to the cache locale. Without a boat, age precluded the other avenues. This is a beautiful area despite the vehicle unfriendly road. Will take it off the "to find" list though.
