This cache, while not large enough for swag or trackables, should be fun for the young and young at heart. Please replace cache when done so that others will have a similar experience. CONGRATULATIONS to instantkarma79 for FTF 5/29/12!
The cache is located at a junction of the Highline Canal Trail with one of many neighborhood tributary trails. This area is rich in wildlife, including coyotes, owls, red-winged blackbirds, ducks, and even the occasional great blue heron. The trails in this area are popular with runners, walkers and horseback riders,  and offer outstanding views out west to the snow-capped peaks of the Front Range.

There are few rest areas on this stretch of the trail. The closest port-a-potty is at the Highline Canal's Orchard trailhead, about 2 miles along the trail to the south. Or you can access this stretch from a parking lot on Holly, from which the Holly and Orchard shopping center is only a stone's throw away.

Wow...that was scary. Happy one of us was willing to touch it. Thanks for replacing. Gets a favorite. We have had a great time riding the HighLine today. This is an awesome area...saving the preserve caches for another nice day. This is our last cache today. Riding back. It's gonna be fun! TFTFUN SL

I was a little apprehensive, but was able to make the find. Unfortunately as I as I was trying to replace the log I dropped part of the container. We looked for about 10 minutes but no luck. :-( I would be happy to buy you a new one if you would like me to. I have protected the log so it should not be an issue for new searchers. I am so sorry. Thank you for the cache.
