Wow is it HOT! Don’t know how I’ll be able to handle Florida when the humidity is added. The hardest part of this cache for me was figuring out a way to get on Arapahoe from Piney Creek trail. Finally took the longest way in my 3rd attempt. It didn’t look like there was a sidewalk but there is a dirt path. Got close to GZ & tied the Geo dog in the shade & started looking using the hint but then I realized I wasn’t near GZ so I headed closer figuring out then that I had misinterpreted the hint. I spotted the container before I got to GZ. I was glad to be able to open it without a TOTT.

Searched under every golden rock, every sort of yellowish rock, every black rock pink rock no luck.

Decided to give this one another try. After a few minutes of searching my better half made the find. I definitely could have missed it. The log is a little damp, but the container is in great shape.
We celebrated my daughter's birthday. With little time for caching, we decided to stick close to home today. Three newer caches nearby, so we went to look for them. Thanks for the cache!

Welcome to geocaching. Thank you for placing this cache and helping to keep our recreation going. When choosing places to hide a cache, you may want to think about water. This cache will become soaked after the first big rain and may be washed away.

Zipped out and got this one fairly early, before it got too hot. TN-LN-SL. Thanks !

Decided to try again and fortunately saw no snakes this time! Sneaky hide! TNLNSL. Thanks for the new cache!

Stopped for this one on the way to lunch. Didn't look for it the other day when I got the other one since LiD said it was gone. Saw that 2ll found it so decided to come get it. Saw it from a long way off because of the way the previous finder placed it. Put it back out of sight. I agree with LostinDenver that this one is at great risk of being swept away. TFTC!

Wore the wrong shoes for this...but rocks were easy to walk over and look around. Lots of trash so kinda hard to distinguish the cache. But overall it was an easy find. Might be on someone’s property, but seemed okay and safe to go to. Took an ice cream, left an ice cream! TFTC!!

{FTF} at 4:50 PM?. Last cache of the day. The only log was a DNF by LostinDenver, a very good cacher and friend. Still, we had to try, or maybe because he did DNF it we had to try. Amazingly we found it in minutes ! So happy we did because it started raining and we were soaked by the time we got back to our car ! Thanks for the new cache .

Unfortunately, this is a DNF. The coordinates lead to a concrete/rock flood basin. Last night a large rainstorm would have certainly washed away anything left at the coordinates. But there is also a mention of the "north side." I scoured the entire basin without luck. Then I drove over to the new nearby cache and managed to find it without much of a problem. If this container is like the other one, it is certainly gone. Nearly any container will be washed away if it is placed where the coords lead in the flood basin.
