Well, that was interesting to get on the right road to this one, my Nuvi and maps have a lot of interconnects that I couldn't find from C.R. 50. Need the hint to dial this one in and then it still took some searching. Cool spot! Cheers!

Wasn't exactly sure how to get here because neither the Nuvi, the Garmin hand held or the Nat Geo map were correct. I thought I would have to come up from the neighborhood but I couldn't find a county road so up the Boreas Pass road I went until I saw the sign for the FS campground so down that road I went past the CG and one the rough road in my Santa Fe which made it just fine with dry roads. Might be a little tougher with a lower car. Could see this was a popular campsite so hoped it wasn't muggled. I found the container easily even though it is well camoed. It was exposed so I put a little cover over it. I picked up the TB so it doesn't get stuck over the winter.

fun find. took some digging. My coordinates were about 10 feet off. Cache is still good. I left a trackable to see if you could get a little more traffic. :) We had a fun day, drove on Boreas Pass to climb Black Powder Trail Pass (and I made it all the way up this time) then drove on the Tarsal creek 4x4 trail. Passed quite a few others, and saw a MOOSE!
