This series allows everyone to experience Wherigo. This Wherigo is a Play Anywhere cartridge. A Wherigo compatible device is not required, a PC may be used. The geocache coordinates will be revealed upon completion of the game.

 

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE POSTED COORDINATES.

This is a short game of hangman which takes about 5 minutes from start to finish. Or does it? It all depends on you and your knowledge of the subject. Sure you can cheat, but the difficulty level is set to reflect the proud cachers, who choose to use their brains not their computers.

This is a play anywhere cartridge and can be played anywhere even at home from your favorite chair. Use of a Wherigo compatible device is not required. The game may also be played using the emulator tool in the Wherigo Builder program.* The cartridge may be played for geocaches in several states. As the cartridge starts, you choose from a list of states with Wherigo geocaches included in this cartridge. Upon completion of this quiz, you will be given the geocache coordinates. For another state you may restart and play the cartridge again. The game cartridge can be downloaded here: Hangman Constellations. The final cache is within 2 miles of the listed coordinates.

This Wherigo is part of a project created by marcipanek. The idea is to have geocaches scattered all over the USA that could be found using this single Wherigo cartridge.

The cartridge has also been uploaded to WherigoFoundation.com as from time to time the Wherigo.com site has issues and this way you still have an option to download the cartridge. Here is the link: Wherigo Foundation.

I ran the cartridge and came up with the coordinates for the "old" location. It wasn't there. I ran the cartridge again today and still came up with the old coordinates. I searched up the closed road in the coordinate location and came up empty. After two consecutive tries, each with the same but apparently incorrect coordinates, I will wait until further information is available, unless rangerhal gives me permission to log this as found.

Day 4 of a 10 day road trip to Mingo in Kansas and GeoWoodstock in Texas as our main targets with Capers4, Frazuky and KaiteeDee aka Squirrel Girls. Signed in to caches as Squirrel Girls, our names or initials.

We reloaded the cartridge and solved enroute. Glad it was in the direction we were travelling. Arrived at GZ and soon had cache in hand.

Drove up from Denver to make the find on these for where I goes. Solve them a long time ago which proved to be problematic on this one. Search the location we had, albeit up a closed Road. After searching diligently we took a look at past logs and realize that the puzzle have been changed. So we sat here and resolved the where I go while listening to the Colorado Rockies which made concentration a little tough. Solve the puzzle made the find and headed out tftc

This was the hardest one of the new Play Anywhere WIGs for me by far. Was glad when I finally got it solved. This was also the closest to home for me at 1.1 miles. Stopped by on the way home from work this evening to sign the log. Nice quick find and fairly quiet area. Always love WIGs, thanks for the new ones in the area!
