This cache is located on Midland Trail less than 10 feet off the trail. Cache container changed 2-9-13...is a quart mayo jar painted OD green. It was moved slightly and coordinates changed since I received several DNF.
GCRM State Park fee. Parking at trail head. PLEASE NOTE park's cache requirements: ACCESSIBLE on the trail system; NOT ATTRACTIVE to wildlife, especially bears; DOES NOT disturb or destroy the natural or historical features of the park; APPROVED by the Park Manager. Remember CACHE IN, TRASH OUT. Geocachers, let's make Eleven Mile State Park a better place since they've allowed us to add to the enjoyment of our time there.

This cache was our "goal cache" of our trip. we needed it to fulfill our fizzy grid (for. a second time because the CO for the cache we had filling this D/T rating changed its rating.) please don't change this rating!! :) ;) great hike. so glad we came up here for this. all is well and dry with the cache.

This one is difficult to hint about, because all the rocks at the base of the gigantic rock look similar! I'll give it a try...

First hint, unencrypted because it's important: if you use an offline geocaching app, make sure to save the photos from this cache to your phone before you lose mobile phone coverage. You might need the photos!

Also, because the big rock blocks so many satellites, my coordinates bounced around a lot (surely this is the reason for the 4-star difficulty). My 15-minute averaged coordinates differed slightly from those listed: N 38° 55.800 W 105° 29.077.
