Easy multi-cache off the Highland Canal Trail in Aurora, Colorado.
A two waypoint cache along the Highline Canal. Waypoint 2 is an unusually attractive 35 mm canister. (Gotta love them micros!) Waypoint one is small and even more attractive.
Stay out of the canal when it’s full of water. Might be slippery after a rain. Watch for ducks, asparagus, mushrooms, and muggles -particularly high speed bikers. You can't get there in a wheelchair.
Best access point parking is the Exposition Park lot.

Drats! I couldn't even come up with step ONE! This was coming after two other DNF's so I was getting quite discouraged.

Found the first WP no problem. Went to the coordinates listed and found the mangled/rusted whatever it was, and dug all through the grass and trees but no luck in the end.

Out caching with FeartheFish because he needs multis. Found without too much trouble. TFTC!

We thought we made the find by finding a large container but had no log, so went back down to find the real cache. Thanks for maintaining this nice little multi. It was interesting, challenging and findable. We are having a great time riding bikes and caching today on the HighLine. After reading logs we made the find. It is completely covered in grass. Both stages were a bit tricky for me, so it was nice to make the find. Thanks for placing this multi.

I DNFed this cache about a year and a half ago. And it has been in the back of my mind ever since. I had gotten a hint a while back on the final and had thought about driving out here but it's not in my normal stomping grounds. But, today, I dropped off my wife and kids at the airport and before I went to church decided to do some caching to kill time.

I had some "must get" caches on the list but this actually wasn't one of them. But I realized I had some extra time and decided to try and avenge this DNF. I was able to park a little closer to the final than WP1 which made it easier. And then, it's a funny thing with DNFs. Sometimes it takes multiple trips of extensive searching. Other times, you practically walk up to it. I don't know what happened the first time I was here but I certainly don't remember seeing that host! It was a pretty quick grab which was helped by being on the best level for retrieval.

Glad to get this multi for the extra Planetary Pursuit souvenir points, but even more so, to avenge an old DNF!

Thanks for the hide memnosine

We are not big fans of multi's but out hiking the trails so got this one. First stage was a breeze and second stage final found after a long search

Back again and spotted the camo quickly today as the weeds seemed flatter. Thanks for the fun memnosine!

Found stage 1 no problem. Maybe I entered something wrong, but I didn't see the cache around GZ, though I didn't have time to crawl in the wash.

Thanks! Fun and quick multi in my quest to find 500 of them. Caching with nerak today. Also grabbed another traditional nearby and watched the frolfers.

Thanks memnosine! Logged Unusually Attractive (UA) from a seventh galaxy using c:geo!

No wonder I couldn't find Stage 1 on my previous 2 visits, it being missing and all.
Searching for stage 2 was for me a classic case of being misled by former finders.
At 82, I don't negotiate slippery grass banks with much confidence, given my hip bursitis and trick knee, but I with the help of a big willow tree, I managed, and nothing broken in the process. Getting back out would be interesting...lost both shoes halfway out. Probably didn't need to go through all this, but I got a good look at the thing that engineers would love (I am one). It's a weir-gate system rod, I believe, for raising and lowering a flow control gate. Nice clean dry log, mine the lone signature. Thanks for the interesting search. TNLN SL.

Replaced first stage, replaced log in the second/final. Canal is wet, final is slippery today. And the skeeters around the first stage " so numerous they did swarm".

I could not find the first stage. I'll replace it soon.
