Last year we moved to Colorado from the East for Dad's new job. We started geocaching as a fun family activity, and this is our first hide.
We moved to Colorado from Kentucky, and we brought everything with us and left our families and our past behind. It was a whole new world, a new adventure and we have been recreating ourselves every step of the way.

Included in this cache are some things we've found since getting here, and some relics from our old lives, as well as a few things from our travels to other places. Please share things you've gotten in your travels abroad.

FTF has their choice of a few interesting things.

A travel bug originally found in Deer Creek Canyon
A Germany Geocoin found on the way to Legault Mountain
Two untrackable, but cool compass rose geocoins
$10 (no, really!)
A Red River Gorge, KY euro sticker

 Hints

A277 (vague hint, but once you find A277 it'll be easy to find the cache, it's immediately below). This is very well camouflaged and will be hard to spot unless you're right beside it. [Be careful removing it so as not to smash your fingers.]

Straight up the hill from the last one. What a climb. GPS took us right to the correct hide. Definitely a favorite. Took a TB left a top, signed the log. Thanks for the cache.

Gave this one a favorite point because I really liked the location and I was so happy when I finally spotted this one. I happily threw down the stick I was using to dig through the snow and signed the log. Thanks for the cache.

Took on about 6 miles total today and was able to find 7/10 caches. I suspect that the snow was the reason for the 3 DNFs though, so I am sure that I will be back in the spring to redeem myself. As far as the trails go, they were a mix of clear and dry, muddy and very slippery, and icy and snow packed. Microspikes came in handy and I was glad I brought them along even though I had to put them on and take them off at least 6 times. Thanks for all of the caches.

Out for a hike on a clear day. The off-trail up to this cache was easier than some of the shaded icy trail sections. Left a trackable, hopefully not for the winter TFTC

The A277 tag is inside the cache now. Keep looking, coords are very good, you'll find it.

I picked this nice cache up while doing a short hike in Apex Park. This was my first time here, and I really enjoyed the trails. The tree cover and overcast skies made for a very cool and enjoyable hike. I was very happy to make the find on this cache with no drama, despite not having a clue about the clue. Thanks to the CO for the nice placement, fun hunt, and brining me to the Park, TFTC.
