Holy freaking cow! My son was lucky enough to just roll up on this. Definitely look like a piece of trash but once you saw it you knew that it was an antique 10 from the 40s. It seemed like it was in a spot that was quite conspicuous. So we pushed it back in the “cave“. Do not look at the picture unless you want to know exactly where it is.

FTF w/Dud&Plato! When we got to the location we had a pretty good idea of which side of the path it would be on, despite the coordinates pointing to the other side, which meant we were either in for a long search or we'd have to set a time limit and just give up if we couldn't locate the cache. I wasn't exactly wearing the best shoes for this adventure as I wasn't really expecting to be crawling up and down the hill side over rocks and cactus. Despite this I still followed behind Dud&Plato and looked around the area. He headed back up the hill to the path while I looked a little longer. Eventually I tossed in the towel and started back up the hill. It just so happened that the sun came out from behind the clouds and managed to strike just a tiny edge of the container and lit it up for me. It was complete and utter luck. I definitely got my workout in for the day. TFTC|SL

Oh wow... this one took some work, and some luck to come up with. Once getting to ground zero and determining that the coordinates may be a bit off, tried to take a systematic approach to this one. There's a LOT of possible locations, and I mean tons of nooks and crannies. This one pretty much turned into a needle in a haystack search. I called for and even posted my DNF, and was about ready to head out when Bria got super lucky and called out the found it. Made sure to take some time to come up with an average of our coordinates to hopefully be helpful. N 40° 35.648 W 105° 09.884 - Not a huge difference in terms of feet, but massive when there are this many 'caves' to search through! (Certainly not where we expected in terms of that hint.) In the end, the coordinates made it difficult but made that last minute did not find, turning into a first to find all the sweeter. Thanks for a new cache and a chance at a blank log! Currently everything with the cache and log is in great shape. A pleasure to sign on the first line.
