Fore Four Lakes Golf Cache is a tribute to lost golf courses. Four Lakes was a semi private golf course from  1973 until 1981. The Four Lakes name comes from the man-made Four Lakes on the course. The Abbotts were the owners of the course...Gary Abbott was the course pro. Neighborhood South Suburban Abbott Park is named after them. The course hit economic hard times and was sold and sub-divided in the early 1980's. There are about 550 homes on the former site of Four Lakes Golf Course.
