This will be a geocache focused on the world of football/soccer (whatever you want to call it). Please look these answers up on the internet. There will be no physical information. These will be fairly difficult for people who don't follow the sport. You will definitely have to do some real searching on the web to find these answers. Pay attention to the dates on the question so that you know what year to do the math from. Note: These are all about men's soccer.

TFTC! Learned a bit about soccer. Or maybe it’s Futbol… found nothing but the log. It was dry, but not long for this world without protection. Put it in a tiny ziplock, but that has seen better days as well. Thanks for the fun puzzle and for bringing me here!

This geocache is still useable but it definitely needs some attention. I have nationals in Dallas for soccer starting Wednesday so once I get back from that I will replace the container. Until then happy caching!

It is so wonderful to come out and see ball fields being used. Geocaching all over the community today and sadly softball fields with nobody playing on them. This hide could use some attention as described by lost in Denver. Thanks for an interesting puzzle

Solved a few days ago. Last night we came out to make the find... but it was after park hours, so we never made it to the GZ. Today we returned - apparently at peak park time. We eventually found parking and walked over to the hot zone, both for the cache and muggles. But we took a seat and discretely searched. No luck. But I noticed a folded piece of paper in the grass. It looked like a log, so I opened it. Sure enough, that little notepad paper was the log. But the container has been muggled. I added my stamp and put the log back at the host. Hopefully it lasts...
Today we headed north (again) to meet up with friends, chat, and cache. We did just that. After an event we found a cache with 2lablovers before heading out to find some on our own - if we can. Luckily, we found caches, birds of prey, prairie dogs, and a bunch of magpies.
We had to call it a day early to go home and plant flowers.
Thanks for the cache!

Nicely done. It took me two attempts to make the checker happy. Thank you for creating this puzzle and helping to keep our recreation going. Let's go Liverpool!
