USE ERNIE's COORDS: N 39° 09.535 W 105° 04.878

We love finding "lonely" caches, that haven't been found in a year or more, and this one hasn't been found in 11 days shy of 3 years. Got the Jeep to a good parking spot about 1200 feet northeast of GZ and headed in. FIRST FIND WITH OUR NEW GARMIN ETREX TOUCH 35T BigSmile
Cache is in great shape. Stamped the log, traded a little swag and retrieved the travel bug (TB27MXB) that has been here for five years and 21 days ToungeOut Dropped off a trackable that wants to go to remote caches (TB4Y7W0).
Photos of the log are attached -- looks like some muggles keep finding it, signing the log and trading stuff. We hid it a bit better (photo attached of that as well) as when we found it, anyone walking into the mine pit would spot it VERY easily.
TFTC !!!

Spent some time trying to get on the "right" trail to get closer than 1/2 mile -- and turns out the road on our map is now closed to motorized vehicles. Will return when have time and energy to hike in from a closer location. TFTH!

I too visited the wrong pit 1st. The cache is still in fine shape in the pit to the East. Not sure of these coordinates are any better since there is a lot of bounce, but I recorded N 39° 09.538 W 105° 04.878. TFTC.
