It turned out that the cache that I and many others had found was a duplicate container. I met with Mondo at the cache site to remove the duplicate. We transferred the log that I and others had signed into the real container. TFTC again!

This was the second star puzzle that I found today. I guess this must be a former star... I had solved the puzzle months ago and made the grab today. The lid is missing from the container but the log is dry. TFTC

I truly enjoyed the puzzle. This kind of math puzzle really tickles my fancy.



Pintail 11, Chill and Julie Too, and I found what apparently was a duplicate container. As a result our logs were deleted after cache maintenance. The confusion has been cleared up and I and my compatriots are relogging this find with the CO's permission.

This was the first Geocaching puzzle Dud&Plato ever showed me. I took a small crack at it initially, but hadn't actually started geocaching at the time. After a few other caches he brought this puzzle back up and I sat down with pen and paper and managed to solve it. Definitely one of my favorite kind of puzzles. Came out with Dud&Plato to this cache on a big caching day, but we didn't end up getting a find. When he noticed that it had gotten replaced we came back out since I had the day off and managed to get the find. This was definitely a difficult puzzle and hide, but well worth it. I can say this puzzle attributed greatly to my interest in geocaching. TFTC|SL

I can't tell you how excited I am to write a found it log on this one. It was years in the making as a matter of fact. Started working on this oldie early in my geocaching career, and went off on the wrong track on the math a time or two. Doing so, I found I pretty much had to start over from square one more than once. Eventually making some progress, then putting it on the back burner.

Finally years later the clouds parted and came up with an answer. My first stop here, I couldn't come up with a find, but didn't post a DNF. After a while, noticed the cache was replaced and came to hunt it again... no luck a second time. Arghhh! Back on the back burner, it went again.

Finally, after a few new finds posted on it, I came back... comb in hand if it was necessary, as I was going to pour of this location that was for sure. This time, still took a long hunt, but eventually, I did the happy dance as I put eyes on the well-hidden container. An absolute joy to put ink on this log after that run! A special thanks for this older cache and it's unique D/T I needed to fill a slot. Currently, everything with this cache and log is in great shape. TFTC|SL

I spent the day with my muggle hubby trying to get some large caches and high fav points. We kind of didn’t switch gears on this one and still had the large container mindset. We walked up and down that little embankment and around and around that tree. Once we were adequately covered in pine sap and our legs scratched up, we looked again at the cache page, did a palm to face and realized what was what. This was the amazing puzzle cache that we spent so long solving and really had targeted it for the d/t and for the coolness factor of the puzzle. Finally saw the container, signed the log and gave each other high fives for a great day of caching. Dropping a fav point, wishing I could drop many more.

I was out and about caching with herndonrd helping him find various caches that help him complete the Fizzy challenge. In addition, our goal was to get him eight icons today (a goal that I am happy to say we achieved). Since we were in the area, I suggested that we stop and look for this one as well. This was one of those rare occasions when I found the cache instead of herndonrd finding it. Sometimes I think he just keeps me around for my looks. After we did the whole sign and replace thing we celebrated our victory by heading back to the car and driving off to get another one. Thanks for the fun hide and for getting me outside on such a beautiful day.
