Found with evgnhiker after checking on our cache on the Blue Trail in the DMP. We bushwhacked from the trail we were on for about 1/3 of a mile to get to this cache. Then we discovered we were very close to an actual trail (orange trail maybe) to get us back to where we needed to be. I am still looking for a proper trail map of this park, which I think I have found in the past but cannot now. We marked several intersections on our GPS while hiking around and decided not to summit today so we could map out the remainder of the red trail before heading back to the car at the Armadillo approach.

Thanks for placing a cache on this side of the mountain. It has been on my list for quite some time.

Beautiful view. Cache is sound and well-stocked. Difficult to find because of initial trailhead location problems. Thanks to Greasepot and BethKatzPa for their helpful log entries on how to find trailhead. Those directions should be incorporated in the cache description. Earned a favorite vote. Thanks for placing. Go Cub Scouts! K7

Now I know why not many strike out for this cache. It's tough to figure out a legal way to get here. I parked at the school & hiked all the way around it just to be faced with private property signs on one side & a garage on the other. I had to skirt past the corner and get going quickly. I never did find a trail until I got about 250' from the cache. I look forward to taking it back down to see where it takes me.
