PUZZLE 1
Once upon a time an old lady went to sell her vast quantity of eggs at the local market. When asked how many she had, she replied:

If you divide the number of eggs by 2 there will be one egg left.
If you divide the number of eggs by 3 there will be one egg left.
If you divide the number of eggs by 4 there will be one egg left.
If you divide the number of eggs by 5 there will be one egg left.
If you divide the number of eggs by 6 there will be one egg left.
If you divide the number of eggs by 7 there will be one egg left.
If you divide the number of eggs by 8 there will be one egg left.
If you divide the number of eggs by 9 there will be one egg left.
If you divide the number of eggs by 10 there will be one egg left.
If you divide the number of eggs by 11 there will be NO EGGS left.

How many eggs did the old lady have?

PUZZLE 2:
My local green grocer is a would-be mathematician. He likes to arrange his apples in nice rows. However, when he lays his apples in rows of 3 he has 1 left over.
When he lays them in rows of 5 he also has 1 left over. Remarkably he also has 1 left over when he arranges them in rows o 7 and 9. 11 seems to be the magic number, for, in rows of 11 there are NO apples left over.

How many apples does the green grocer have?

I'm in the process of solving as many geoarts and Puzzles in the Texas area and some neighboring states.I'm leaning to start in Colorado Springs and travel thru Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and finally Texas and take about 10 days doing so. My main focus would be to sign the oldest caches in each state as I'm very close to finishing my Jasmir and something I would like to complete this year. Anything else I sign on this adventure is just another bonus in my books. You Never Know Where The Road Will Take You or who you will meet on your path. The hard part for some is actually getting on the road. I知 not afraid of the road; I play on the road!

TFTCSL this was a quick find once at GZ. I was doubting myself while looking for parking. All is well.

As I approached the cache location I thought that I surely messed up my coordinates. Thankfully I got them right and made the find. Tftc! Great find on a 21-degree night.

A little calculating, a little reverse engineering and there it is. TFTC!

A week or two ago I noticed a challenge that required an alphabet of puzzles. I was surprised when I ran the checker to see that I lacked only X, and soon located this candidate. The solution took a little work but it wasn稚 bad, and today I知 passing through here for an appointment to the south. Quick grab and sign, and I知 on my way.

Now if I could only remember where the challenge cache was. Oh well, I値l find it again, and now I知 fully qualified! TFTC!

Great puzzle. It took a bit with the guess and check method. I solved it last night about 1am and got the log signed about 10am this morning. Cheers!

At last a math puzzle! Rather standard at least for the ancient Chinese, but with a little background in elementary number theory or with the help of a computer also doable by everyone else.
The container was found easily - I think I had accumulated enough experience by know to understand the owners' style of hiding. Grabbed, signed and replaced.
Thanks for this non-logical math puzzle and the smiley.
Signed the log in the late afternoon
