Nice lock. I wonder if water will damage it.

Nice to see a new hide fairly close to home! Had never been on the nearby trail before or seen the pond. Stopped to take a picture of a duck. Cool container! Signed log. Thanks for the cache!

[FTF] at 2:24pm.

There have been so many new caches in my neck of the woods and I have been FTF on none of them recently. I've thought about going for several but work and life have been prohibitive. Not to mention some pretty aggressive FTF hounds in the area (*cough* Kroozer *cough). :)

I'm also working on finding a puzzle cache for every day of the year. I'm finally down to under 100 left to go but it will still be at least another year to complete that challenge.

I saw the notification on this going live and was immediately tempted by it, because of the hide type and it was less than 15 minutes from home. But again, things haven't aligned in my favor yet and I had a fairly busy morning schedule. Would it last??

Once my necessary appointments wrapped up I saw this was still unfound. A little surprising, but to be fair, also in Highlands Ranch there have been a string of newer cachers who have done (unfortunately) fairly questionable hides. Either with bad coords or being too close to a house's fence or containers not made to last, or sometimes the container not even being placed! So I knew this was a risk. But I had to try anyway.

Once I made my way to GZ though I was relieved and pleased to see the cache container there just waiting for me. If I'd had the foresight I'd have brought a TOTT but I was still able to make the grab. And thankfully my elementary math was correct and I got the container open on the first try!

Thank you for taking the time to do this right, even though you don't have many finds or hides, you are restoring my confidence in newer cachers!

Thanks for the hide PrestonC194
